Armstrong County Food Bank
For more than 20 years, our agency has been providing food for Armstrong County residents in need. Programming operated under the Food Bank include:
Monthly Pantry Distributions
Senior Box Distributions
Drive-up Distributions
Our Food Bank distribution network comprises 16 county-wide pantries, all managed by devoted and compassionate community volunteers. These dedicated individuals operate the pantries to ensure widespread access to essential resources within our community.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program
This program provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget of families in need so they can purchase healthy food and move towards self-sufficiency.
Households must meet certain income requirements to be eligible for SNAP benefits. SNAP income and resource limits are updated annually. Applications for this program can be made in person or by contacting the agency to apply.

ACCAP leads the effort in Holiday focused programming including:
Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution
Adopt-A-Family Holiday Project
Operation Warm’s Coat Drive
These programs are funded through sponsorships, private donations, and grant funding and are open to all Armstrong County residents.
