Community Needs Assessments
About ACCAP’s Community Needs Assessments
To effectively empower individuals and build a stronger community, we must first listen to it. The Community Needs Assessments (CNA) are a comprehensive evaluation conducted by the Armstrong County Community Action Partnership every three years to examine the social determinants of health and economic stability in our region.
Why We Conduct the Assessment:
Targeted Impact: Identifies gaps in essential services—such as affordable housing, nutrition, energy assistance, and medical transportation—allowing us to deploy resources where they are needed most.
Data-Driven Solutions: Combines quantitative demographic data with direct input from local residents and community partners to guide our strategic initiatives.
Community Collaboration: Helps align local agencies, leaders, and support networks to create unified, sustainable solutions that help families achieve long-term self-sufficiency.
