Based on available funding, the Farm Service Agency can address the following disaster caused by disaster for agricultural producers in the county.

Flooding

  1. Removing debris from farmland
  2. Grading, shaping, releveling, or similar measures
  3. Restoring permanent fence
  4. Restoring structures and other installations

Drought

  1. Installing pipelines, tanks, and troughs
  2. Construction or deepening wells
  3. Developing springs or seeps
  4. Constructing tail water recovery pits

NOTE - Disaster payments for crops must be designated by Congressional legislation.  These payments are usually made in conjunction with crop insurance or with the Non-insured Assistance Program (NAP).  These payments will be issued at a later time period.
