Job Retention

The goal of the Job Retention Program is to help you retain employment, seek advancement and provide rapid re-employment should the client lose their job.

The is an interesting premise.  It is the only program we have ever operated were the clients must come into the program "with" a job.

Clients can come as a referral from the Department of Public Assistance if they are working but not getting enough hours and is therefore still receiving cash assistance.  We also can solicit clients from the "working poor".  These people work, but do not make enough money to operate their households and they are no longer on cash assistance.  We must increase their income by 25%, this can include a raise in pay, gain health benefits or a combination of the two.
