Child & Adult Care Food ProgramHome > Child & Adult Care Food Program724-763-8043 The Child & Adult Care Food Program is administed at the federal level by the United States Department of Agrilculture and at the State level by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Food and Nutrition. The primary intent of the program is to improve the health and nutrition of children and adults, while promoting the development of good eating habits through the use of nutrition education, for eligible children and adults in nonresidential institutions that provide care. Armstrong County Community Action Agency administers the CACFP sponcership, held by the county that sponsors Family Child Care and Group Child Care Providers who wish to participate in the food program. Any certified Family Child Care or Group Child Care Provider may participate. Benefits of participation:

The CACFP Office is located on Water Street in Manorville and is open Monday thru Friday from 800 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
