Mental Health Disaster Services

Mental Health Response Team (MHRT) - 724-548-3451

  • This is a Disaster Response Team headed by a psychiatrist and a psychologist designed primarily for large disaster services at mass care sites, able to operate for a 12 - 24 hour period.

Crisis Intervention Stress Debriefing (CISD) - 724-548-3451

  • A team of trained counselors providing stress debriefing services for small groups of emergency responders and or private citizens.  These individuals can also work one-on-one.

Psychiatric Emergency Services (MH delegate) - 724-548-3451

  • Crisis services normally provided for the mental health consumer in need of emergency hospitalization.  These services are provided on a 24 hour basis.

Mobile Crisis Worker - Family Counseling Center - 724-543-2941

  • This individual primarily responds to mental health consumers in need of referral sources for counseling services.

Family Counseling Center Outpatient Services - 724-543-2941

  • This is the main provider in Armstrong County for scheduled and or walk-in appointments for those with mental health problems and or stress-related disorders due to disasters.
